What is the minimum EOBI pension in 2026?
The minimum EOBI pension is Rs 11,500 per month. It applies from 1 January 2025. No new increase has been notified as of 2 November 2026.
At what age can I get EOBI pension?
Men can claim Old-Age Pension at 60 and women at 55. You also need at least 15 years of EOBI contribution. Service of 14 years and 6 months or more counts as 15 years.
What if I have less than 15 years of contribution?
If you have at least 2 years but less than 15 years, you get a one-time Old-Age Grant. It equals one month's average wage for every completed year.
How is EOBI pension calculated?
The official formula is average monthly wages multiplied by years of insurable employment, divided by 50. If the result is less than Rs 11,500, the minimum pension is paid.
